Build your profile
Import your CV, add your history, and set the skills that power matching.
Your profile is the technical half of every match score. A complete profile means companies find you for the right roles.
Why your profile matters
Matching compares your skills and experience against what each role requires. Sections you leave empty simply don't count in your favor — completing your profile directly improves your match scores.
Import your CV
The fastest way to get started. Upload a PDF or Word CV and Migbirds extracts your experience, education, certifications, skills — and the tools & software you work with — automatically. You review everything on a preview screen and choose exactly what to import; items you already have are detected and skipped, so importing twice never creates duplicates.
Experience, education & certifications
Each section supports full entries with dates and descriptions. Recruiters read these when evaluating your application, so favor concrete outcomes over task lists.
Skills that power matching
Skills on Migbirds are structured, not free text. You select your environments, domains, and competencies from the same lists companies use to define roles, and rate each from 0 to 4. Because both sides speak the same language, matching can be precise — be honest with levels rather than maxing everything out. Your tools & software appear as their own row on your profile and Migbirds CV.
Your compensation expectation
You can set an expected range (daily, hourly, or annual). It is private: companies never see your figures — at most, they see whether a role's own posted budget fits your expectation, never a number and never "below". Keeping it current helps you get approached for roles in your range. Migbirds nudges you if it hasn't been reviewed in a while.
Profile completion
Your profile shows a completion percentage. Aim high: it influences how visible you are when companies search for talent proactively.
