Changelog
What's new in Migbirds and these docs.
A running log of notable updates to Migbirds and this documentation. Newest first.
August 2026
- Interviews on Migbirds — propose times, confirm a slot with calendar invites on both sides, and run the video call right in the browser.
- AI recruiting toolkit — Rank with AI, tailored interview kits, AI-drafted rejection messages, and plain-language talent search. Always advisory: AI assists, people decide.
- Talent Community, rebuilt — a ranked "for your company" view driven by hiring preferences, shared favorites, dismissals, and "Recommended by Migbirds".
- My Applications & saved jobs — track every application, withdraw anytime, bookmark roles, and get weekly digests of new matches (Tuesdays for talent, Mondays for companies).
- Express interest, closed loop — candidates can answer "I'm interested" or decline, and recruiters see the response.
- Public job pages — shared links now open a real page anyone can read, with sign-up landing back on the role.
- Docs updated — every guide revised for the above, plus five new guides: interviews (both sides), the AI toolkit, managing your jobs, and tracking your applications.
July 2026
- Job families — creating a role now starts from seven role families that tailor the suggested domains and competencies.
- Marketplace agreement & progressive disclosure — identities and contact details open step by step as a hiring conversation advances.
- Compensation, both sides — posted salary ranges with a show/hide choice for companies; a private compensation expectation for talent.
- Job lifecycle — close a role with a thank-you to applicants, duplicate any posting, set auto-close timers, and export a branded PDF.
- Docs expanded — nine in-depth guides added across For Companies, For Talent, and Product Guides.
June 2026
- Migbirds Docs launched — the first public version of the documentation, with guides for companies and talent, an overview of the science behind the assessment, and Trust & Privacy. Available in English and French.
