Managing your job postings
Edit, share, close, duplicate, and auto-close roles across their whole life.
A posting isn't done when you hit Publish. Here's everything you can do with a role over its life.
Editing a published role
Editing takes the posting offline while you work — Migbirds asks you to confirm before opening the editor, and reminds you to republish when you're done. Your applicants, pipeline, notes, and interviews are untouched throughout.
Sharing a posting
Public roles have a real public page — anyone with the link can read the posting and sign up to apply, landing right back on the role afterwards. You can also download a Migbirds-branded PDF of the posting to share anywhere; a salary range you chose to keep private never appears in it.
Closing a role
When a role is filled or no longer needed, close it with a reason (position filled, no longer available, or other) and an optional internal note. You can opt in to notify and thank every applicant — each gets a considerate in-app notification and email. Closed roles disappear from all talent listings, stop accepting applications, and their applicants are re-anonymized. Shared links to a closed role show an honest "this position is closed" page.
Active and Archived
Your Jobs page separates Active from Archived. Archived postings keep their history — closed date, reason, applicant count — and can't be edited or moved; their one forward action is Duplicate, which creates a fresh draft copy of any posting.
Auto-close
For any published role you can set an auto-close timer: pick a number of days and Migbirds archives the posting for you when the time is up, showing you the computed close date in advance.
