Finding talent proactively
The Talent Community, per-role search, express interest, and Job Boost.
You don't have to wait for applications. Migbirds ranks the whole talent pool for you — both against your company's hiring profile and against each role you publish.
The Talent Community
The Community page opens on a ranked "For your company" view: the pool ordered by fit to what your company actually hires for. Tune it by setting Hiring Preferences in Company Settings (pick at least a few required environments, domains or competencies). Two more views sit one click away: All talent and Favorites.
- Favorites — star promising people; stars are shared with your team.
- Dismissals — mark someone "not relevant" for the whole company; restorable anytime.
- Recommended by Migbirds — a pill on profiles curated by the Migbirds team; it affects ranking only.
Filter by role family, sector, seniority, country or "recently added", or search free text — titles, preferred roles, skills, cities and credentials, accent-insensitive. You can also just describe who you need in plain language ("senior buyer in France, available now") and the AI search fills the filters for you. Every Monday, a digest alerts your team about new matching talent, and you're notified when a favorite becomes available.
Search for Talent
Each role also has a Search for Talent tab that ranks platform talent by the same technical and behavioral match used for applicants, with availability, sector, seniority and country filters. Advisory seniority-fit and compensation-fit chips add context without changing the match.
Why some candidates are anonymized
Candidates who haven't applied to your company appear with a first name and last initial, and without contact details. Opening full profiles requires a company admin to accept the Migbirds marketplace agreement; direct contact details then unlock once a candidate you shortlist has applied to one of your roles. Internal talent of your company is always visible. This protects candidates while still letting you evaluate fit honestly.
Express interest
See someone promising? Express interest and they receive a notification and an email pointing them at your role — and they can answer: "I'm interested" or decline, and you're notified of their choice. The decision to apply always stays with them.
Job Boost
If a published role has no applicants after a while, a Boost panel appears on its detail page with three groups of actions:
- Diagnose — check the candidate pool distribution, description issues, and whether requirements are set too tight.
- Distribute — notify top-matching candidates, re-share the role to your followers, or share it externally.
- Redistribute internally — notify your internal talent or re-engage past applicants from your other roles who match this one.
Notifications are capped and de-duplicated, so candidates never get spammed by repeated boosts.
